Songe Riddle is a writer, artist, and animator, focused on screenwriting which expands his visual practice into narrative. He first enjoyed success selling a feature to Paramount Pictures, and has continued work in development of original features and series alongside studios such as DC and HBO.
Trained as a traditional illustrator and painter, and working professionally for over 20 years, his art spans book and album covers, sequential art, character and background design, and 2D hand-drawn animation. His work has been exhibited internationally, including in Los Angeles, New York, and London, England.
The grandson of noted artist John Thomas Riddle, Songe comes from a multigenerational creative family and is a sometimes collaborator with Diallo Riddle on television and film projects.
Songe has spent the majority of his professional life in New York and London, England, and as of 2018 resides in Los Angeles.
